Why EV recovery is different
Most EVs cannot be flat-towed. Spinning the driven wheels on the road can damage the motors, the gearbox and the high-voltage system. Full flatbed recovery is the correct method — vehicle in the appropriate transport mode, all four wheels off the ground.
We carry the equipment to put EVs into the correct transport state and load them without damage.
IVR accredited handling
We are IVR accredited including module 27b for EV recovery. That means trained, compliant handling, awareness of high-voltage safety procedures and correct method for damaged or fault-coded EVs.
Where a vehicle has been involved in a collision or shows a high-voltage warning, we follow the procedure for safe isolation and handling, and discuss the situation before any action is taken.
